I told a friend of mine I had got a LC-A+ and he told me that he had a Lomo Lubitel 166 B collecting dust somewhere. He bought the camera back in the 80s when he was an art student.
Next day, he brought the camera and gave it to me as a present! (I also gave him a present, but that's another story). I've had the camera for two months, but I haven't got my first rolls developed until today.
The Lubitel doesn't have a photometer, so you should use a hand held one, another camera or just guessing which is what I did in most of the pics (I used the photometer in my Leica D-Lux4 in a couple of them IIRC).
There's something unique in using a medium format-double lens camera. Sure, you'll get the funny looks, but... anything for a nice shot.
This camera is a joy to use, I'll shoot some more rolls soon; here are the first ones.
